Signing up to post-paid price plans - a procedure for Foreign Citizens
According to Mobitel's General Terms and Conditions any foreign citizen, acting in his or her own capacity with a permanent residence in Slovenia or a legal entity with headquarters registered in the Republic of Slovenia, with a proven payer's capacity, can become a post-paid customer.
Foreign citizens can become post-paid customers provided they have a registered permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia.
They have to provide:
- a valid form of identification (i.e. passport, personal identification card)
- a tax (VAT) number
- and the Confirmation of the Registration of Foreigners' Permanent Residence in the Republic of Slovenia
Foreign citizens who do not have a registered permanent residence, but only a registered provisional residence can become post-paid customers provided they have:
- a valid form of identification
- a tax number
- Confirmation of the Registration of Foreigners Provisional Residence in the Republic of Slovenia
- a vouching statement from a person with a registered permanent residence and employment in the Republic of Slovenia
Before the vouching statement expires, Mobitel will request a new document or renewal of the already existing one. If a foreign citizen does not have a provisional residence, we recommend Mobi pre-paid system.
Foreign citizens who have a registered permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia are equal to citizens of the Republic of Slovenia regarding the conditions for signing up to post-paid price plans, whereas foreign citizens with a provisional residence can only sign up one subscription package at a time.
