NeoWLAN is Slovenian publicly accessible wireless network, which allows wireless internet connection. Use hotspots to connect at various parts of Slovenia. Hotspots are available in hotels, restaurants, faculties, congress centres, airports ... NeoWLAN locations carry NeoWLAN designation to indicate the signal availability. Signal reach depends on location features and ranges from 30 m to 100 m. For wireless connection, a device, which meets standard IEEE 802.11b/g is necessary (laptop, palm, PCMCIA-card or USB WLAN).

Internet access is very easy – at startup internet browser automatically locates Slovenian publicly accessible network NeoWLAN; the screen shows registration page with registration instructions to follow.
1. With Mobitel services phone number
- Enter your phone number and a one-time SMS password, which you receive by a return message.
- NeoWLAN service is not time limited – log out after use.
- It is recommended for pre-paid Mobi customers to verify balance prior to NeoWLAN access; if the balance is insufficient, access is denied or interrupted.
- After log-out, you can again request access password anytime.

2. NeoWLAN scratch card
- Enter a 16-digit code, which you will find at the back of a NeoWLAN scratch card, under silver coating.
- You can buy NeoWLAN scratch cards at NeoWLAN hotspots or in Mobitel centres.
- Four types of scratch cards are available:
- 1/2 h NeoWLAN scratch card (red) for 30 mins of network access from the first registration onwards. If you register at 11,00 it will expire at 11,30 regardless of the number of registrations.
- 2 h NeoWLAN scratch card (white) for 120 mins of network access, available for 24 hrs from the first registration onwards. If you register at 11,00, it will expire at 11,00 the following day. During this time you can access internet for 120 mins, regardless of the number of registrations.
- 24 h NeoWLAN scratch card – 3 days (silver) for 1,440 mins of network access, available for 72 hrs from the first registration onwards. If you register at 11,00, it will expire in 3 days at 11,00. During this time you can access internet for 1,440 mins, regardless of the number of registrations.
- 24 h NeoWLAN scratch card – 6 days (black) for 1,440 mins of network access, available for 144 hrs from the first registration onwards. If you register at 11,00, it will expire in 6 days at 11,00. During this time you can access internet for 1,440 mins, regardless of the number of registrations.

3. With a credit card
- Use Eurocard, Visa or Activa.
- Scratch card is purchased electronically in registration process. E-scratch cards are equal to paper ones. It is important to save the 16-digit code to be able to enter the code everytime you register within the available access time. After having purchased the scratch card you can request receipt code and print the receipt within 7 days from the purchase.

By registering you allow Telekom Slovenia to collect and use your personal details, entered at the registration. Details entered on Telekom Slovenia pages, intended for NeoWLAN service or pages for receipt checking and printing are collected by Telekom Slovenia for internal purposes and for the purposes of payment procedures respectively. All details required for registration are intended for the purposes of the services listed in this chapter of Mobitel services respectively and are not communicated by Telekom Slovenia for other purposes or to third parties. Telekom Slovenia keeps registration details and all the changes executed by customers permanently in an appropriately secure and protected system.
We care for your security
For transmission of personal details SSL technology is used, which provides encryption and information protection. SSL technology is supported by majority browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozzila Firefox …). Title bar, showing »https://« and a lock symbol in the lower part of the box or a lock symbol in the box (depending on the browser) means you are in a protected SSL area.
WLAN is also available abroad
Mobitel services post-paid customers can use WLAN in networks of selected foreign operators. The expense is settled by a monthly bill.
